What is a Gross Deposit Limit?

Gross Deposit Limits are calculated based on the total value of approved deposits made within the defined timeframe, e.g. UTC calendar day, week (Mon-Sun) or calendar month.

This means that a Gross Deposit Limit sets the maximum amount you can deposit during that timeframe. Any withdrawals you make do not increase or restore the amount available under your Gross Deposit Limit.

Here is an example of how it works:

  • You set yourself a £50 per month Gross Deposit Limit.
  • You then deposit £50.
  • You have a winning session, and your account balance goes up to, say, £75.
  • You decide to withdraw that £75.
  • Once the £75 withdrawal has been processed ('settled' transaction status), you would not be able to deposit any further funds that month because you have already deposited your £50 Gross Deposit Limit.
  • Your available deposit allowance only resets when the next calendar month begins.

This is different from a Net Deposit Limit. With a Net Deposit Limit, settled withdrawals made within the same limit timeframe can increase the amount you are able to deposit again.

How can I set a Deposit Limit?
